The treatment of psoriasis (PsO), a chronic, autoimmune disorder causing skin cells to build up and become inflamed, is continually evolving especially with the use of IL-23 targeting therapy. Health care practitioners (HCPs), including dermatologists and other members of the multidisciplinary team, may lack knowledge of healthcare disparities, the unique challenges that impact skin of color, and the latest emerging therapies for PsO. Education on the efficacy and safety data for novel and emerging therapies would support these HCPs to provide informed care to their patients with PsO.
In this CME Outfitters Snack, expert faculty, including dermatologists, will address the educational needs of dermatology providers and other HCPs including improving their knowledge of the efficacy and safety data for novel and emerging therapies in PsO, discussing clinical experiences, current and late-breaking research, and how to integrate this data into their management of patients with PsO.
