Statement of Need

Acromegaly presents a diagnostic and management challenge due to its  gradual onset, diverse symptoms, and complex treatment landscape. Delays in diagnosis and suboptimal care lead to  prolonged morbidity and increased mortality. However,  emerging therapies, including novel oral options,  offer new opportunities for personalized treatment strategies that align with  patient preferences, adherence challenges, and comorbidities.

In this  CME Outfitters live symposium, leading experts  will explore:
✅ Early, guideline-based diagnosis  to improve patient outcomes
✅ The latest efficacy and safety data  on current and emerging therapies, including oral treatments
Individualized care strategies  that consider patient needs, comorbidities, and barriers to adherence

Stay ahead of the curve with cutting-edge insights  to enhance patient care and optimize long-term management of acromegaly.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to better:

  • Integrate strategies aligned with guideline recommendations to diagnose acromegaly early in the disease course
  • Assess the latest efficacy and safety data on current and emerging treatments for acromegaly, including novel oral therapies
  • Incorporate factors including patient preferences, comorbidities, and potential barriers to adherence as part of individualized care planning to optimize long-term management of acromegaly
