Joint Accreditation recognizes CME Outfitters’ commitment to interprofessional education and team-based care; Scott J. Hershman, MD, FACEHP, CHCP joins as manager of strategic partnerships to further support accreditation services
BETHESDA, Maryland (September 30, 2021) – CME Outfitters, a leading accredited provider of continuing education and a division of KnowFully Learning Group, today announced it has been awarded Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) in recognition of its commitment to team-based education to improve health care delivery and patient outcomes.
As a jointly accredited provider, CME Outfitters is accredited to provide continuing education to the entire interdisciplinary health care team through a single, unified process and set of accreditation standards. CME Outfitters now also holds accreditations to provide continuing education to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, PAs, psychologists, social workers, optometrists, registered dieticians and athletic trainers. Joint Accreditation for IPCE is the first and only process in the world offering this benefit.
