Pharmacy Health Services Training Hub

The Pharmacy Health Services Training Hub is a centralized learning destination designed to support clinical professionals—pharmacists and pharmacy technicians‒in strengthening their patient engagement skills through accredited educational opportunities. The Hub offers access to curated training content that empowers participants to deliver high-impact, culturally responsive care while earning CME credits. As part of its inaugural suite, learners can earn the Population Health Champion Badge, which equips professionals with tools to identify and address health disparities, leading to stronger patient connections and community trust. Additionally, the Multilingual Connector Badge supports skill building for engaging non-English speaking patients, fostering more inclusive communication, and driving increased outreach completion rates. This platform serves as a critical resource for professionals committed to delivering exceptional and equitable care across diverse populations.

Implicit Association Test

Understanding how implicit bias impacts our lives is a theme running through each of the Diversity and Inclusion activities. We all have biases; we can learn more about our biases by taking the implicit association test (IAT). This first step in understanding bias can help us unravel the myths we may have learned and move forward with compassion and cultural humility to help address health disparities today.

Clinician Guide to Implementing Gender-Neutral Terminology

Using assumptive or gendered terms for pronouns, relationships, or bodies in health care can be harmful to patients because it reinforces stereotypes around gender expression and identity. Until the HCP has had a chance to establish patient consent around terminology, consider using gender-neutral terms to cultivate an inclusive environment for your patients of all gender identities.
